August 2017 Athlete of the Month John Cappai

Our Athletes say it best… I joined Plus back in early 2014, approx. 3 ½ years. I have seen improvements in most areas from lifting to gymnastic movements etc. Along with a general all round improvements in my fitness and mobility levels since starting CrossFit. My movements, Deadlifts & C2B My least favourite movement is Overhead Squats Ha, who would say burpees, definitely squats over burpees I prefer Rowing over Running, however, 5km endurance test on the rower is a stretch. I could never do Chest 2 bar pull-ups before starting CrossFit Protein powder, I don’t take any, never have. Where do I start, my list of cheat meals is extensive, however, I would have to say Pizza is at the top. I love surfing when I get the time My coffee I prefer Short black or mocha Bacon? That’s a yes. What I enjoy about Plus is the people, atmosphere, support & encouragement that everyone has for one another, and the challenging workouts of course.
