August 2022 Favourite Human – Victoria Beasley

I have been CrossFitting now on and off for about 2 years!

The biggest change within myself I have noticed since starting CrossFit is a good mix of confidence and definitely strength! I could barely lift the bar when I started! 

Favourite CrossFit movement…I love deadlifts and back squats. I HATE burpees with a passion! Does anybody actually like burpees?

Burpees or Squats? Run, Row, or bike?

Squats all day, any day! Ya gurl loves a good row!

One thing that I can now do that I couldn’t before starting CrossFit is probably everything! But solid push-ups are probably it!

Can’t go past a parmi and a beer as my favourite cheat meal.

One thing outside of the gym is I love spending time out on the lake or out 4x4ing. Really anything with a motor

I take my coffee as a Latte with 1! If I’m allowed to have other forms of caffeine we might be alright, but if not get ready for a really cranky Vic 🙂

Life without bacon…I’ll be honest, I like bacon but I could probably live without it…

The thing I enjoy the most about Human Fitness is the community and friendships I have made while training! Everyone gives you that last little push when you need it most!

My best party trick is I can do the worm and the splits at the drop of a hat (thanks dancing background hehe)

Thanks to COVID I haven’t really had the opportunity to travel much but I’d love to do a trip around Australia!

3 things I couldn’t live without are Caffeine, friends, and family

In 5 years I see myself hanging out with you guys (obviously) and completing my degree in High School PE 

Moving forward, my goals

1. Unbanded pull up

2. Solid handstand push up

3. Be so strong I can crush a watermelon with my thighs
