When did you start CrossFitting?
I first started CrossFit late 2015.
What made you start?
I was literally dragged along by my cousin, as I hated the thought of going to the gym.
How were you training before CrossFit?
I had never been to a gym before I started functional training.
What is your favourite aspect of training at Plus?
My favourite aspect of training at plus would be the community atmosphere and it’s great family.
If you could take one piece of exercise equipment with you to a deserted island, what would it be and why?
I would probably take a rower, so when I get bored I could row elsewhere.
What other sports have you played or play and at what level?
I have played rugby union at states levels in both NSW and QLD.
What other physical activities, if any, do you do outside of the Box?
Hobbies outside of the gym would be bowhunting and bouldering.
What is your favourite quote?
Do today what other won’t, so tomorrow you can do what others can’t.
What is your favourite movie?
Favourite movie, hands down Talladega nights.
If stranded on a deserted island, which album do you wish you had with you?
Anything country, most likely Paul Kelly.
What is your favourite cuisine?
If a snitty pizza’s existed, it would be that.
What advice would you give to someone new to CrossFit?
You are only here to better yourself.
What are your training goals for 2017?
As corny as it may be, I just love coaching and want to hear your goals. whatever they may be and I want help you reach them. a triple-digit snatch would be gnarly too.
Who inspires you?
I would have to say Michael Jordan, living proof that failure is drive for success.
