- I started CrossFit in August 2015
- I have never been one to enjoy going to the gym, but after much persuasion I gave in and finally attended a CrossFit class.
- From day one I loved it. I’m finding now I want to take care of myself outside of training. Overall I’m feeling more confident within my own body.
- I’m not one to pick favorites, I enjoy it all, but my least favourite movement would have to be ˜Snatch’
- Give me Squats over Burpees 😉 and I prefer to ˜Row’. Since I’ve been running a little for a few years here and there. Trying something different.
- My upper body strength has always been my weakness. As of a few months ago, I am now able to lift my body weight and perform a pull up.
- I have never been 100% dedicated to fitness like I am now, so I have never felt the need for a post workout protein shake. It has crossed my mind to maybe start trying them out but at the moment I’m happy with the way things are.
- My number one weakness when it comes to cheat meals would have to be chocolate.
- I love reading. I could sit for hours uninterrupted.
- Don’t drink tea or coffee
- Bacon = Absolutely
- CrossFit Plus is becoming a second family. Knowing a few of the girls prior to starting made it a little less daunting as I had no idea what to expect. Everyone welcomes you with open arms. There’s no judging. Everyone is equal. No matter what, you leave feeling fantastic, maybe a little fatigued and then the soreness kicks in for a few days, but it is well worth it. And there are always guaranteed laughs.
