November 2017 Athlete of the Month (AOTM)

I woke up one morning and decided it was time for a change, that was 12months ago and i haven’t looked back since, I love Plus, my tribe, my family, my home. The biggest change I have noticed within myself since starting CrossFit at Plus, my body hurts a lot. No really I feel so much stronger, fitter and all round  general better. My life has changed in all areas I have more energy, more motivation. What is your CrossFit movement of choice? Everything with a bar. Bar gymnastics that is, muscle ups are the bomb, bets and all of the lifts. I can’t decide between overhead squats and double unders, definitely my least enjoyed movement. Burpee or Squats… No better way to start the day than with 100 burpees? Rowing of course. When I have the choice I would much rather sit then run. Much better One thing? There are 100’s of things that CrossFit has brought to my lift. The most impressive thing  though, is CrossFit gets me up at 5am. I wasn’t able to find the motivation to do that before Post Prowie True protein! Rich chocolate, my goodness 🙂 Pizza and beers. There is no better feeling than a warm pizza in your belly a beer in your hand and watching the fittest on earth on Netflix. Winning 🙂 What do you mean “doing something outside the gym” is there such thing, hehe. How do you take your coffee? My perfect coffee is made with cold water, maybe a cold drip. I don’t drink my caffeine through coffee.   Bacon? Why is this even a question? I don’t trust people who don’t like bacon. The thing you enjoy the most about Plus? Beware I will be in danger of a brown nosing but it’s true I love everything. Clean, professional, fantastic community, continues improvement and the best Coaches. Moving forward. To continue getting stronger, fitter and better. Long term target to go to the games in the 70+ masters 😀
