Opportunity to shape, mould and improve our children lives – Plus CrossFit Juniors

Plus CrossFit Junior  As a coach, I am excited you have chosen to include CrossFit into your child’s development. We are not only able to potentially improve their lives but also provide an opportunity to shape and mould them. The goals of the CrossFit Kids program is to provide children with a safe opportunity to play, learn and develop new skills physically, mentally and socially. Plus Health fitness Performance holds health as its highest priority, and we believe that it all stems from our childhood. We believe if we ingrain good habits into our children from an early age, the chances of them carrying these habits into their adulthood is far greater than trying to force new habits at an older age when individuals have developed their own knowledge and beliefs. We are running two groups of CrossFit kids classes: These will be Teens 12-18 years and Kids 5-12 years. Please note that age is not a deciding factor in which class your child may attend it is largely based on: individual skill level; athleticism; maturity; and your coaches’ discretion. We have rules enforced to best protect your child/children:

  1.    A nominated parent/guardian who will be picking up your child/children
  2. Walking your child inside the building before class starts and coming inside to pick them up at the end.
  3.   Make the coach aware of any injuries, issues or individual needs your child may have
  4.   A waiver, signed by a parent or guardian
  5.   Ensure your child has a bottle of water labelled with their name.
  6.   Ensure your child is wearing appropriate clothing. Clothing is important and is part of the CrossFit kid’s child protection safety guidelines.

We are looking forward to getting to know your family as a part of Plus Health Fitness Performance and coaching your child to the best of our ability.
